More About the Course

You know when your child’s breathing seems different, even if you cannot yet explain why. Maybe a cough lingers after an illness. Maybe a change in season brings a familiar response. Or maybe the symptoms are gone, but your child still tires sooner or takes longer to settle after play. Grounded in Classical Chinese Medicine, Growing Free | Supporting Pediatric Respiratory Health helps you understand your child’s respiratory picture—beginning with what breathing looks like when they are well. You’ll learn to notice their everyday capacity, how they meet changing environments, what happens when something shifts, and whether they return to their own baseline. The course gives you five questions to carry: - Capacity: What is ordinary for my child when they are well? - Encounter: How do they respond to changing air, seasons, and environments? - Direction: Where does a respiratory challenge go? - Trajectory: Does it move through and clear, or linger? - Return: Have they come all the way back? You’ll also explore what different moments may ask of you, attentive care, practitioner-guided support, or medical attention when breathing changes or concerns you. Printable cards and a short pattern guide help you put meaningful observations into words without tracking every cough. This course is not about diagnosing your child or making ordinary breathing something to worry about. It is about recognizing when ordinary really is ordinary, noticing when the picture changes, and knowing when to bring in more care.
